High energy oats-free muesli feed for performance horses
Formulated with the 'hotter' horse in mind, Barastoc Cool Command enables high performance without the 'fizz'. Being free of any unprocessed grain and containing no oats, its low starch formulation provides the energy that performance horses need – without causing anxiety or problematic behaviour.
Barastoc Cool Command contains 13% protein, a level that suits a mature working horse or pony, and with no raw cereals that might ‘hot up’ a sensitive horse. The energy level is achieved through the use flaked grains, which have the added benefit of being easily digested.
Vegetable oils are included to provide a safe source of concentrated energy and to promote coat condition. There is chromium to help maintain exercise tolerance, a high level of anti-oxidants to help prevent muscle damage and live yeast culture to improve utilization of roughage.
In total, Barastoc Cool Command is the ideal way of successfully supplying a grain-sensitive horse with a non-heating, high energy diet.

The recommendations provided are intended as a guide only. The amount fed will vary according to the horses condition and the quality of pasture and/or roughage available. Barastoc Cool Command should be used to supplement grazing and/or high quality roughage to not more than one half of the horses daily feed intake by weight. Introduce this product gradually over a 2 week period. Intakes less that the levels listed may require additional vitamin and mineral supplementation. Do not feed more than 3.0 kgs of this product per meal.
