Barastoc Prepare is the ideal feed for preparing yearlings for sale. A highly palatable muesli-style sweet feed, it contains a complete range of conditioning ingredients – with no powders or waste. With Barastoc Prepare, you have the advantage of being able to feed horses “in the paddock”. And As a full feed ration, Barastoc Prepare reduces both labour for feed mixing and the need for other ingredients.
Barastoc Prepare contains steam-flaked oats, barley and corn to provide a blend of digestible grains. It is fortified to supply all the nutrients required for growth, pregnancy and lactation. As well as this, it contains high quality protein from soyabean meal, added amino acids to support growth rates in young horses. An enhanced level of macro and trace minerals helps to support bone growth and development, and added yeast culture aids digestion.
Highly versatile, Barastoc Prepare can be used for mares and young horses, including sales preparation horses. It is also an ideal conditioning feed for stallionsprior to and during the breeding season.

The recommendations provided are intended as a guide only. The amount fed will vary according to the horses condition and the quality of pasture and/or roughage available. Barastoc Prepare should be used to supplement grazing and/or high quality roughage to not more than one half of the horses daily feed intake by weight.
Introduce this product gradually over a 2 week period. Intakes less that the levels listed may require additional vitamin and mineral supplementation. Do not feed more than 2.5 kgs of this product per meal.
