Description

A balanced meal based on chaff, high quality grain and steam rolled ingredients, designed for the preparation of stud rams for show or sale.

Feeding Directions

  • Seek the advice of a Ridley AgriProducts Territory Manager. Phone 1300 666 657. 
  • Ensure that palatable roughage is available to appetite at all times during the feeding program.
  • Barastoc™ Stud Ram Meal can be fed up to 2% of body weight per head per day.
  • Start sheep at 0.5% of their body weight per head per day, and gradually increase feeding rate to 1% of body weight per head per day over 14 days.
  • After 14 days, the feeding rate can be further increased to 2% of body weight per head per day, if required. This is done by gradually increasing the feed over a further 7 days, so that on day 21 of the feeding period, the sheep are eating up to 2% of their body weight per head per day.
  • Ensure that clean, fresh drinking water is available at all times.

WARNING Do not feed to starving stock. Do not feed to animals other than sheep and cattle. Do not feed to lactating ewes where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption.

 

Storage Requirements

Store undercover in cool, ventilated, dry place, below 30 degrees celcius, protected from sunlight.
